The right measurement for the question

U.S. power lines and electrical systems produce low-frequency fields at 60 Hz. A power-frequency survey measures magnetic fields and, where included, electric fields. Wi-Fi and cellular radiofrequency measurements are a separate scope requiring suitable instruments.

A report with context

The proposed survey records instrument and calibration details, locations, measurement height, date, duration, settings, units and operating conditions. Readings can vary with electrical load and time. A single visit does not establish a person’s long-term exposure or prove the source of equipment interference.

What this service does not certify

This is a field-measurement service, not a medical assessment, diagnosis, health guarantee or blanket safe-home certificate. Suspected wiring faults, interference or utility-source questions may require an electrician, utility or appropriate specialist.

Confirm the scope first

This service is being established. Instrumentation, measurement protocol, site access, appointment availability and fee will be confirmed before NJCAT accepts a survey. No work requires customers to approach power infrastructure or exposed electrical parts.
